Announcing 4FASHIONSHAKE IV

Το 4FASHIONSHAKE IV το πιο σημαντικό fashion project του OZON RAW θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τετάρτη 23 Νοεμβρίου στο Θέατρο Παλλάς. Μια μεγάλη γιορτή που συνδέει τη μόδα με τη σύγχρονη τέχνη, παρέχοντας τη δυνατότητα σε καλλιτέχνες και designers από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό να εκφράσουν καινούργια concept και να μιλήσουν με διαφορετικούς τρόπους για εκείνο το κομμάτι της μόδας που γοητεύει και συγκινεί.
Αυτή τη φορά η ιδέα χτίζεται σαν ένα κουαρτέτο σε 4 κινήσεις. Οι 4 συμμετέχοντες: ο Shaun Samson από το Λονδίνο, η Anouk Kruithof από το Άμστερνταμ, η Ελευθερία Αράπογλου με το label digitaria από την Αθήνα και ο Vladimir Karaleev από το Βερολίνο θα μοιραστούν την ίδια σκηνή, ενώ ο τόνος, η ένταση, τα χρώματα και τα μέσα θα μεταμορφώνονται καθώς η μια κίνηση θα οδηγεί στην επόμενη.
Ταυτόχρονα, το πρόγραμμα του 4FASHIONSHAKE IV εμπλουτίζεται με την παρουσία επί σκηνής του Athens String Quartet, που θα ερμηνεύσει το μουσικό θέμα που επιλέχθηκε για τη φετινή καμπάνια ‘Κουαρτέτο σε 4 κινήσεις’. Επιπλέον, στην οθόνη του Παλλάς θα προβληθεί το fashion film των Suzie Q. και Leo Siboni, με τίτλο ‘Nuptialis: is this real life’, που σκηνοθέτησαν για το Motwary*Mastori Studio και το οποίο βραβεύτηκε στα πλαίσια διαγωνισμού που διοργάνωσε η Diane Pernet και το ASVOFF, με την υποστήριξη της γαλλικής Vogue.
Παράλληλα, στα πλαίσια του 4FASHIONSHAKE IV και ως μέρος ενός ενιαίου προγράμματος θα πραγματοποιηθεί η επίσημη παρουσίαση της συλλεκτικής έκδοσης της καινούργιας φιάλης της Absolut, ‘Absolut Mode’ την οποία έχει σχεδιάσει ο πρωτοπόρος Βρετανός σχεδιαστής Gareth Pugh.

4FASHIONSHAKE is the most ambitious project held by OZON Raw magazine. It is a fashion event that aims to stir things up in the hitherto stagnant and outdated status of Greek fashion events. 4FASHIONSHAKE is held twice a year in April and November respectively, while the main body of the event is each time supported by 4 representatives of the field of fashion, with the number 4 to mark the event. At the same time, the core of 4FASHIONSHAKE is framed by a series of parallel events that take place on the same day as part of a unified program.
It is the first attempt made in this particular market to connect fashion with art and in this sense 4FASHIONSHAKE is set to create a platform for young creators, introducing a more artistic way of presenting them through experimentation with different means, thereby achieving a comprehensive approach to fashion and how this cultural product can be connected with contemporary art.
The two first versions of 4FASHIONSHAKE were held at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in March and November of 2010.
The remarkable public response resulted in the establishment of the event and the realization of 4FASHIONSHAKE III in a new space, the Theater - Cultural Centre "Hellenic Cosmos" on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, with capacity of 850 people.
The program of 4FASHIONSHAKE includes important names from the international and domestic fashion scene, emerging artists and distinguished professionals. Some of the event’s guests so far have been the famous sociologist - anthropologist Ted Polhemus, photographer Matthieu Lavanchy, the artist Hormazd Narielwalla, designers schmidttakahashi, Sibling, Michail Gkinis, Una Burke, Motwary * Mastori Studio, Digitaria, Romina Karamanea, while important collaborations with ATOPOS CVC, Levi's / Jean Paul Gaultier, Joalz and May Roosevelt.
4FASHIONSHAKE III was the first event that included 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS, a cycle of events predating the big night of 4FASHIONSHAKE to turn the event to a wider audience and present a more completed program. The 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS are now a vital part of the 4FASHIONSHAKE event.
For the first 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS our team worked with institutions known for their association with fashion and contemporary art as Beton7, the Kunsthalle Athena, the ATOPOS and important guests were the winning young designer Mickael Kampe and artist Craig Green.
4FASHIONSHAKE’s fourth part is being scheduled for the 23rd of November 2011 at Pallas Theatre (5 Voukourestiou str, Athens). The program of 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS includes the Fashion Room Service event that is organized by the magazine’s team at the St George Lycabettus on Wednesday, 16 November.
